When to start misting/bathing

Post by desertray1 »

I have read so many books and done a lot of research but I have not found anything that specifies how old they need to be before you start letting them bath. Anyone have any comments? Anything helps :P

Still counting down the days till I get to bring my baby home. :!: :D :!:

I have found my babies start finding interest in water for bathing around the time they are weaned. I take them outside in a cage, put the hose on fine mist and after a short time they open their wings and fluff up their feathers. I only have the spray on part of the cage so they can choose to have a bath or not. You may even find they start bathing in their drinking water. :-)
