Nibbling/biting

Hi need som help with my irn baby. my first irn got him a week ago he is a monster nibbling me hard any tips how i can stop it?
he is ferless comes to me when im open his cage not afraid of my hands and when he is on my schoulder he is nibbling my ears of :P
he just checking but it hurt lika a mf

That stage is normal. It helps them explore and understand their world but it can hurt. Perhaps you could wear a beanie to cover your ears? Regarding hands, my guess is if you can do lots of step up practice with him and perhaps other training with positive reinforcement, it may help the phase pass more quickly. The other thing I could suggest is making sure you have perches around the house so that he can be with you but not on you all the time. This gives you lots of step up and step down training opportunities too.

Thx for the reply.have started som clicker training with him but il need to work more on step up =)
