Hi there! My partner (Michael) & myself (Bronwyn) live at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We have a new baby in our lives....Ringo a turquoise IRN. We acquired Ringo just before Christmas & he has fitted into our lives fabulously. He is allready a big part of our daily lives, showering, eating & partying with us. We live on 1/2 acre & breed Cockatiels, Gouldian Finches & Rosa Bourke parrots, these are all in the backyard. My 1st baby - Tut (the dog) is a wee bit jealous, as she has been the centre of attention until now. We're not pushing them together...just letting them get used to each other slowly. I have been viewing this site for a while & having a lot of questions answered. So, just wanted to say Hi & introduce ourselves. Until next time, take care!

Friendly Welcomes!
Thank you Andrea! How old are your babies? We are guessing that Ringo is about 6 months?!?

Welcome to our board and extended families. Post often and ask as many questions as you have. There are a lot of very knowledgeable members on this site. Please post pictures as soon as you can! I too have a teal/turquoise irn. His name is Byndi and he's a punk. But I love him to pieces. I have a baby named Remmi and he's skitty. But we're working on both. I have a tiel named Milo and he is a total DOLL. The most perfect bird on wings! I love my babies! Hope you post often and become a member of our family.
Hugs,
Jen

Thanks Jen! They certainly do have personality & make themselves part of the family. I can't have children so I REALLY substitute my pets as family. I do have 1 question allready.....Ringo loves to hop on top of the glass shower partitions whilst I am showering. He carries on if I hop in without him, but I am worried about getting him wet every morning. I have a little towel that I dab him with & don't leave him in drafts but is this ok for him to get wet every day. He absolutely loves it, but I don't want him to catch a cold? I read that another owner uses a hair drier, I tried this on low but he wasn't impressed. Feedback?

. people here are the nicest bunch of people i ever met, on top of that they are full of information, so feel free to ask question i know i do.
. anyhow what does a torquise irn look like. i know kia is blue right.

Thank you! I've got that vibe allready....I used to pop on & browse every lunch hour for about a month before I introduced myself & found it very entertaining & informative. We think that Ringo is a male & I describe his colouring as powder blue.....exactly like Kai. I'm looking forward to watching him grow up & see what changes occur. How long do IRN's live for....I heard 20-30 years? What sort do you have goro?
