My IRN is 6 yeras old and cant talk...is she just shy?
Kiwi is my IRN's name...shes 6 years old...ive had her since she was naked with no feathers...we always cuddle and whistle...like she'll do the pretty whistle and 3 blind mice and just random whistles...but i cant get her to talk...i even leave the radio on when i go to work so she can hear words...what am i doing wrong??

You cant make your bird talk if it doesnt want to. Some birds never talk.
The best thing you can do is talk to her when it's dark and sound really excited and maybe she might respond to a higher pitched voice. who knows.
Just be happy with her even if she never says a word. I would try focusing on NON VERBAL communication. Birds talk to you with their body all the time.

i have the same problem mine is the same age but i havnt had him only a couple months
i ahve heard that a higher pitch voice is easier for them to mimc
and i know that they comunicate with body language bubba has a set of words in this form i can tell what he wants, is thinking, and is going to do next by watching his body
