Hi everyone!!

Post by Elphi »

Hi everyone!
Here you have a new friend!
I fell in love with IRNs when I was 6 and my father gave me a book of parrots for my birthday. Since then, I became interested in parrots in general and in IRNs in particular. I have had budgies and cockatiels as pets (the most common here in Spain).
Last summer I went to Brussels on holidays, and when I saw the colony of IRN that live in the park beside the European Parliament, I decided to look for one (now that is easier to find them due to internet  )
So after reading a lot about them, last week I got a couple   and I decided to register in the forum in order to be able to ask you my questions and share with you my new experiences!
And that's all!
Let's have some fun with our birds! :D

Hi Jesús

Welcome. I think we have the same colour birds - lutino (yellow) male and a blue female? Mine are called Charlie & Janey.

I look forward to hearing more about your new additions!

Ellie.

Hi Ellie!!

These are Pin & Pon  (mi mum decidied their names when she first saw them  )

Pin is lutino and Pon blue... although if I take the photo with flash she looks like turquoise.

They are lovely, curious but skeptical if they notice I`m looking at them... and also still a bit afraid specially when they see me coming with the broom
What else can I say... they are my new babies!!!

Congrats on your beautiful birds. Looks like they are going through a moult. My guys are scared of the broom too.
