My IRN Twix bites if she is in a box and i try to take him out, i stopped giving her even though she loves them but then at times i do have ones im using around the house, and if my parnter tells her off for any reason or trys to pick her up so bites and draws blood how do i stop the biting?

It is possible that Twix has a nesting interest in the box... which is why she bites you when you go to pick her up:
a) she doesn't want to leave it and
b) she is probably territorial of it. After all it's a possible future nest.
I've had terrible problems with our Janey's nesting instinct and this instinct has produced the worst bites she's ever given us. See

So, I think the best solution is probably to avoid letting her access boxes. For a time, I had to limit Janey's out of cage time to one room in the house. It doesn't sound like your bird is at that stage however.

Birds can form a closer bond to one person over another so it could be that you are the chosen one and your partner is not. The way to change this is for your partner to become the only treat giver and attention giver, at least for a while. You want your bird to associate good things with your partner. Also, everything I have read indicates that birds don't respond to being "told off". In fact, some believe it can encourage the bad behaviour to continue. They say that it is best to ignore bad behaviour if you can and give attention for good behaviour (which may be easier said than done).

Good luck with your bird. How old is Twix? I'm presuming she is a girl?

Ellie.
