Hi there

Post by Jonathan W »

Hey guys :)

Unfortunately I cannot be sure that I will use this forum, I am, however, certain that I will learn something from it :) I am part of a budgie forum and a finch forum...

I own a budgie, two zebra finches, and a Japanese quail :)

Basically what my plans are, is this: I want to have the permission of my parents to buy a young Indian ringneck that's about 10 days old and handrear it :) take note that this will be during te Christmas holidays, when I have just over three months to handrear an IRN :) I really want a companion bird, and when I met my uncles, I decided that was going to be the one :)

I know that handrearing is very demanding, but I don't ever do anything during the holidays so I do have the time and the means :) with the money side of it, my parents love my projects when it comes to birds, and I also have friends who are wwilling to help out :)

I can't wait to start my journey with an IRN :) and I hope I get the permission of my parents :) well, I suppose it's the permission of my mum... Because she's the tough one lol :D

Hi Jonathan

Welcome to the forum. :) I hope you do get your IRN one day, providing your parents approve. They are a joy to have around. :)
Where about are you situated because someone on this forum may be able to help with a baby if you get the go-ahead.

All the best
Carmen
