Hi there... I have an 11 week old ringneck who the last couple of days has been behaving strangely in the cage. She (I think it's female so I will say She) buries her head in the seed bowl upside down and kicks the seed out franticly then looks as tho she wants to sit in it. There has never been any issues with her in the cage and usually she is pretty quiet . I have two other ringnecks in the cage which they have always been . It's weird watching her do it and I'm constantly having to refill the seed container.
I'm am new to this so I'm not really sure if this is normal behavior. Any advice on what she could be doing ??

Hane used to throw all his food out of his bowl too. Instead of refilling it, I only put just enough for the day. He certainly didn't go hungry (he also got daily veggies/fruits while outside the cage and millet and such) but did stop wasting his food in the cage.
I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
