Last night I was holding Remmi. It is VERY COLD now. Single digit temperatures. So I was under a blanket and thought I'd cover Remmi up to his head and see what he'd do. He sat like that for an hour with me covered up to his head while I gave him scritches on the top of his head and cheeks. How sweet is that?? He never made any attempt to move at all. I was in love! I am so in love with this little bird. His eyes are so beautiful and full of wonder. I know I'm a dork, but I just thought this was cool. I don't know if anyone else's---besides Jade's Chook-ringneck that likes to snuggle under covers.

Prinny loves being under the covers...she is so cute when she begs to be let under and then begs to be scritched on the head. Such a darling...hmmm sometimes I wonder if she really IS an IRN hehehe...

Yep Datsun loves blankies! Every now and then I stay in bed after James gets up and Dats will say "where? what, what?" asking him where I am so he goes and gets her and we snuggle under the covers and she runs down the bed to play with my toes then back up to give me kisses.... soo cute, my favourite 'us' time.

Audi loves it too but his favourite spot is in my top!!! Heres a pic, just a link so I dont take Jens thread:

Jen it is so special to do something together, your little spot or you time of night when it is all about you and Remmi!

Isn't t the most amazing thing when your bird does something like that, you think they are the best bird in the world, then the next day they don't won't to do that and you feel p!$ed off

I wish, my IRN's want nothing to do with blankies. They do bunk down under my hair .. does that count? ;)

My sons lovebird LOVES to be in clothes. She can be found in the pocket of his sweatshirt most of the time, just a sweet little peach face peeking out at ya.

You know the most popular ones among men are the smaller ones like lovebirds simply because they are real "pocket" birds? Men find that charming, lol.

Hane only likes covers some of the time, like after a shower in the sink. But Tsume loves it. ^^

The best of times.

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
