I'm MIA :(

Post by Melika »

 Computer is broken so I have little time (at bro's home) to type. But I miss you all terribly and this board. Hane and Tsume are doing great, by the way. I hope ya'll are having fun with your Fids too (feathered kids). :)

Best wishes and hope to be back online soon! -Melika

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

Comp still not fixed. just not a priority right now. We're in the process of getting a new roof and all that so busy busy.

babysitting so once my nephew went to bed I could get online, lol. Having fun. :)

My sis went to Massachusetts and I just got back from North Carolina. So I'm caring for both Hane and Tsume. They're getting along better now, though my Hane is still the bully. They'll eat anything I give them. :)

I'm volunteering at a new shelter that just opened in my area, you can visit the site at http://www.petpalrescue.com/ *cough* if you want to donate or anything, lol. Maybe you can even adopt if you're looking for a dog or cat to save. These dogs pretty much all need good traning though, they come from tough backgrounds. But that's the kind of dog I love to work with, lol. :D

That's my news. Ah, I went to bird tricks dot com and ordered their traning vids just to see what's up. And yup, they'll work if you use them consistantly and really work on your training wholeheartedly. All or nothing with training dogs, same for birds. Just a different kind of training. With birds it's more of a coaxing, though some shy dogs I would use similar tactics.

When my sis gets back I'll begin working with Hane and she, Tsume. We'll let you know what happens. :)

Our oldest dog, Molly, is 17 and going downhill fast now. I think it's time to let her go, but that's not up to me this time. Kira will decide on her return. :?
