I was just wondering how can you get your irn to like getting treats.
(for later on down the track) mine is still a bit flighty at 10 weeks s/he
needs to be handled more as i just got him...?

do females get a darker ring around there necks like i know males
get a black(or a red ring for lutinos) but at such a young age for sky blues ?

i will try and get a picture of mine up soon

Some females can have a faint ring. They won't get the black ring with the orange though.

Find out which treat he likes best, of course!

Put a pile of different things in a bowl and watch which ones your bird picks out to eat first. Use those as your treats. Start by getting your bird to take it from your hand whilst it is in the cage.... It can take a while if it is not already a tame bird. Watch for all little signs of encouragement (if the bird takes one step hesitant step towards the food... that is progress).
