For some reason my IRN has started eating his poo i thought he was eating some sweet corn i left for him and my cockatiel but there was something green in his beak and i thought "oh oh" lol so i've decided to have an early clean. Is it normal for them to eat their own poo??! even when they got seeds, fruit and vegetebles as another option? Cause he is teaching my little cockatiel bad habbits lol he keeps bitting her aswell whenever she tried to eat the "poo delight". and he only does that whenever she tried to eat at the same time from the seed bowl as him. wth is wrong with my birds!?
lol - I've seen mine look at there poo and think, "yum, that looks tasty"... but as soon as they realise what it is, they stop. They may do it long enough to get some on their beak though. I doubt your bird is getting stuck in and eating his poo but maybe others can shed some light on this subject.
Ha ha ha! my female ringneck Devri is like that. I have to change the bottom of the cage several times a day as she loves to chew on the paper--poop included. Just ignore it and be sure to change the bottom on the cage more frequent--that should help:) ha ha ha ha
i'll see what i can do since they run loose around my yardhouse, try to clean everyday to minimalize dirty poos lying around :\ i suppose even dogs sometimes have a taste in the "poo delight". And i guess it aint toxic. i just feel grossed out about it. perhaps my birdie thinks its brocoli.

Its normal for animals to eat poop. Its just us that thinks eww. Baby guinea pigs eat their parents poop when they are very new (newborns) and rabbits re eat their poop too.
I had a budgie, Sam, who kept the grate on the bottom of his cage and any perches free of poo. It was great actually, since I didn't have to scrub as much! He didn't eat it though lol.
