Yoshi's behavior- male or female?

Post by yoshi »

Yoshi is 7 months old this week! :) Ok... Well, the breeder told us he was a male. But, he did that by looking at him, as his head is very flat. haha. I have a female ringneck at my mother's house... But we got Yoshi really wanting a male. I had a male a long time ago named Baby, he died from a tumor. :( But anyway. Yoshi displays with the heart shaped wings and he stands up straight... He hasn't started doing the bowing... But if I scratch the back of his neck he clucks... and I know that is a very female behavior... Does this definitely mean he's a girl? His feathers are somewhat bright... He hasn't molted yet... And he's not as big as the female that we have at home... I can post a few pics. Please please please give your opinions. I mean, we will still love him/her... I just really want a male. lol.

really? you can tell by the shape of its head? amazing, they all look the same to me. the only sure way is a DNA test which you send some feathers away for, or wait and see if he/she gets a ring.....still don't see any difference in my male and females heads?
