So I just discovered that my six month old baby ASTERI simply loves plain icecream cones
hehe
Truth be told he is mainly playing with it ripping it apart, but he really has a super fun doing it!

I was just wondering what random things anyone has discovered that their irn loves??

I def think variety in their day, whether it be toys or diet or even the veiw, is essential -I am def no expert, im a newby to irn, but this is seems to be very much essential & true for my irn

would love to hear your stories!

mine love anything that we have had in our hands or are eating at the time. simple things like a straw from a juice container keep them amused for hours.... they are so funny aren't they! lol

Hi Everyone,

I am constantly amazed at Bluey's responses to food! It doesnt matter what it is she just wants to try it and will badger you until she does! We have learnt to make sure she is in her cage when we eat.

Her favourite treat is popcorn...she will do anything for it, so it is often used to get her back in her cage
It is hilarious to watch her fly to the chair in front of the microwave and sit and watch until it has finished popping!
The battle is to get it out of the microwave so we keep a little stash and give her a prepopped piece.

Now I just need to teach my husband NOT to respond as soon as she screeches!

ha ha i use an air popping machine ......
as soon as mine hear the sound it makes the go slightly nuts
i say slightly coz it trebles the minute the machine stops!!!!!!
skeet learnt very quickly if he can get in the bowl & rumage around to get the best bits mummmy gives him the whole bowl
asteri babi .... i always let their chips cool to about the warmth youd give a baby
(so when you break it open & put it on your lips it doesnt burn
we did have one incident when riku decided hed waited too long & stole a hot one ......
he learnt very quickly why we wait 7 fron then on i would take a bowl to the chippy shop to set some to cool before i got home the chip shop guy used to think i was nuts!!!
id go in wed talk for a bit then hed ask want i want & id go well ive got me 3 kids & the birds better make tha $8 bucks of chips thenn id sit in the car & get some out to cool for the birds

hehe.. thanks guys! its so funny & interesting hearing about your IRNs, I am just finding out for myself how truly entertaining they are
they are soooo curious, its amazing to watch asteri find something completely irrelivent to entertain himself with for hours!
Ok yeh i was weary about the hot factor, def watch out for that. thanx!

yeh he loves popcorn, i read that on this forum when i first got him and it was def a great tool to get him to warm to us. omg he watches it pop in the microwave too! lolz.

asteri loves juice lids too, he is obsessed with those and paper... im a bit bewilldered by the paper though. I am worried he will swallow some, I make sure to only let him rip up blank paper nothing with print on it or glue residue etc.

he is getting bigger.. I wish i knew how to post pics to show you all, i am such a proud mama!

Awwwww Asteri.....all that shows up on my screen is the word 'image' on a ghosted rectangle where the pic would be.

On your previous post where I copied the address, there was an address to copy, now it has disappeared from your post.

Maybe you could try opening up another photo image account with photo bucket for example.

Ok, I joined Twitpic to see what was going on and I don't think you can share photos on forums with it. I was able to display a thumb nail version of the photo but not the complete photo.

If you want to show the thumbnail sizes of your photos, you could try clicking the '+' button on the right side of the twitpic page for the drop down menu to show the 'html' code, (which if for web pages only), and copy ONLY the section of that code that I have in bold below.
