Leeroy + tailfeathers

I was hoping someone could help me,
I own a yellow IRN, named Leeroy. When I bought him, he had a bald spot on his head an no tail feathers.
Since I bought him, his bald spot had cleared up but his tailfeathers don't.
He started to grow little stubs, but the other week his white feathers were malting, and his stubs fell out :O

Is this normal? could he be picking them out? he's starting to grow stubs now, but they grow so slowly. He's looked like a chicken his whole life, can't wait till he looks like a bird lol.

it does take awhile to get the tail feathers back. A good diet with lots of fruit and veg will help. It is possible for leeroy to be pulling them out, check him over for mites or anything that may be irritating him and try to keep him occupied with toys and things to do if you do suspect he is plucking. If you are able to a vet check would be good to make sure everything is ok with him.
