Im new to this forum, my mam has just taken on a ringneck and he quite a large one.
We have noticed he like to hang from the top of his cage and do a firgure of 8 with his head, i am worried the owner he had before us may not have paid him attention and its a boredom thing or is it a thing someone else has came across.
Also any advice on what these birds love would be much appreciated

There is so much to know about these birds that it hard to know where to start, also to know how much you already know about them.
I am intrigued the way you say quite a large one. Generally these birds are pretty much one size, saying you have quite a large one makes me suspiscious that you may infact have an alexandrine.
I would love to see pics of your new fid. Does it have a name.
