Quasi-Long Time Owner here...

I'm the first owner of my green male IRN. He was born in the spring of 1992. I had him for a long time, and then in the transition from college to the career workplace he went to live with my inlaws. While my father in-law went through chemo, Peter became his buddy until he passed. Peter is now back home with me and has adapted to the new house quite well! He loves spaghetti, a good scratch around the neck, and calling our three cats.

Welcome to the boards.
That was a sweet thing you did for your father in law.
I'm sure you can all learn from us and I'm sure you have some things to teach us after owning an irn for so long. Most of us here have only had them for a short time.

Welcome to the boards and our little family Mike and Peter, I would love to see a picture of you and/or your peter soon if thats possible. Like Neo says it will be lovely to hear from someone with an older bird.
