we are new to parrot ownership, we found a stray blue ring neck, tried to find owners, but no one ever came forward, so we kept her, fell in love yadda yadda... and today, found her a mate. a blue ring neck with a turquoise head. he is stunning!
thought i would do a search and this place came up.... no pics yet, but there will be as soon as they settle in. we are going to place them together in 'his' cage after a week of intro.and hopefully, all going well, they should accept each other.
apart from IRN's we also have two Russian blue cats, a maltese x pom x shitzhu with 3 legs, and an older tabby cat from NZ mew mew... I work with horses, and my husband is a computer technician.
we used to breed ducks, muscovies, but a bloody fox came one night and decimated our flock. so we have taken to indoor pursuits with the animals, until we can have a larger property where we can guard against the foxes.
anyway, Im Angie. Nice to meet you.

Welcome Angie.

What breed of horses do you work with and what type of work do you do with them?

All your animals sound like a fun packed bunch.

Your place sounds a bit like here.....I think animals out number us 20 to 1 here lol. But wouldn't be without them.

What part of Aust you from?

Hiya Pinkdevil :D
I work with show ponies, it's on a stud farm, so... we have the breeding aspect also. My role is basically to keep things going, I make the chaff, cook the barley and do the stables. It's great for me, because I keep fit, and get to be near the horses, which I love <3
we live in the central coast, northen NSW
And yep, our Animals are definatly fun... I love, that they all love each other, and can hang out together, y'know, dog, cat rabbit and ducks all on the lawn together. It's pretty cute <3
