My parrot not making any sound

need a hlp pls... ?
very recently i bought a IRN (dont know male or female... ). I named it KuKoo...i am very excited..can some one tell me the gender please/...snaps attached.

He/she ishas not even made any sound till date...(1 week after buying)...Is there anything wrong ?

I woul dnot be worried in the slightest, as in other posts around regarding noise etc... young birds hardly make sounds and calls etc.. as they get older their calls become quite strong and chatty.

The only way to sex your bird, is to DNA test it. Else, anything.. no matter how good or long standing a breeder is, video is possibly the only quality educated guess you will ever get... photo's do near nothing for sexing a bird.

So you will never know cept for pure guesswork until you sex it DNA, or wait to see if a ring forms (roughly 2 years of age).
