tail shaking slightly

Post by dan »

Is it normal for their tail to shake slightly sometimes when they perch?

Is it more like a 'waggle'? Because I have read this can mean 'Give me space or leave me alone'. Have you tried handling after the tail shake? Because I know not to touch Jibby when he shakes his tail. He gets very grumpy! :?

it bobs up and down a bit. Not always, just sometimes. I went to the pet shop today and noticed some of the other birds were doing it too.

Our Budgies and Hubert do this when they're calm and it's cold  Hope to help!

Thanks maybe cos it's winter.

I went to the pet store and saw most of their IRN doing this too. I'm not worried now.

Thank you
