I just saw one of the first handraised chicks (aprox 6 months old) go through her first moult. Ummm...her signs were crankiness, and LOTS of feathers on her cage floor and heaps of pin feathers coming through. Looked ver scruffy

im sorry
thanks guys...
but tango had a bald patch on the head already, and he droped alot of feather, its not visually noticible, but will be obvious whne you are stroking him...
what concern me is...
im afraid it is kind of disease as it just attacked by a rat...
he lost one of his longest tail feather...there is no avian vet here...
there are some, but they don enterrain personal bird, they deal with big farms, and they are reall expensive...i dont thhink i can afford
i really hope it is molting, but he is only 4 months +...
