Broken Feather
My little Beacon took a jump last night and when she landed one of her flight feathers that were growing back (she's clipped) snapped. It broke quite high and there was a fair bit of blood for a feather. She doesnt seem to be bleeding anymore. Will she be ok? Is there anything I need to check?

From everything that I have read, if they break the feather off, it is likely that they will knock it again and it will begin to bleed. The best advice I can give you at this time is to take your fid to an avian vet and have the remainder of the feather removed and healed correctly.
Until you can get them to the vet, if the bleeding begins use corn flower to paste over the end of the feather, and keep a very close eye on your fid.
If there is just a bent blood feather, pasting corn flower onto the break and careful monitoring can usually stop the bleeding and see the feather heal.

i think she is ok now.
have your mention for a week to check for bleed
if it happen stop it with haemostatic cotton (preferable fe type) and go to doctor.
if doesnt bleed after a week she is ok.
give her vitamins and amino acids in drinking water for 3 days
i think haemostatic cotton is a must for all bird keepers all the time, because a few minutes bleeding is enough for bird lost.
