my baby alex keeps turning away from me?

hi all need some advise....

i have a 4 week old baby alex..before feeding he is v excited and keeps running towards me for a feed...but once fed he doenst seems tht attached and keeps turning away from me?

what should i do ?

Don't worry your Alex is still very young. Just keep handling him and giving him attention everyday. Don't take it too personally. It just takes a little time for them to adjust to you. All birds are excited when they see food then once they have it, its like nothing else matters. :roll:

My 2 still snatch food off me and run away with it with no thankyou! :lol:

It could be that this was the routine with the breeder until this point. Feed him and then just leave. Or if with the parents, there was no human interaction. I think its time to feed him, then make a point of making him play and be with you so he gets use to feed, then play.
