My cats have always had pet birds in the house with them and they don't go after their cages or try to fuss with them at all. They might run over to take a look if someone starts flapping around like crazy -- but so do I!
However, I would never leave an uncaged bird unsupervised with the cats -- not fair to either of them. If you teach your Siamese to respect the cages (and be sure to give her lots of attention, so she doesn't get too jealous), I don't think you will have a problem.

I think I answered this in your other post.
'Cats saliva can kill a bird in seconds. Some people here have dogs, cats and birds and they get along well. But you must keep an eye on them at all times!
I've only ever had a bunny, a turtle and birds so I can't help with 'introducing' them. But I would introduce them slowly in a controlled environment. I would not let the cat touch the baby.'
