Hi! I have owned a couple of cockatiels before, so I am speaking from the experience of owning a cockatiel. I have only recently acquire an IRN.

As the birds are new to the family, it is usually best not to have too many people trying to handle the birds at the same time. The birds will need some time to adjust to the new environment. It would be good to just get one person to interact with the birds first. Once they are used to human handling, you can then slowly introduce the birds to other family members. Note that all movements should be carried out very slowly at this stage. When you enter the room where they are kept, whistle or talk to them softly to tell them you are coming. Do the same when you open the cage door. I always leave the cage door open when I am around the bird to entice it to come out, especially since IRNs are very curious birds.

As there are more than 1 IRNs, it may be harder for you to tame them for a start since they already have each other for company. Training at a later stage may have to be carried out separately to avoid any distraction. But at this moment, you should give the birds enough space to get used to the new home and their new owner/s.

Hope that helps.
