Hi!

Post by Dani03 »

Oh please do post pics! We love pics! What is your birds name? Mine (as you can see from her lovely pic for my avatar) is Princess or Prinny as we call her. So tell us what yours is like! They are all so different...I guess that's why I like them so much...they are so unpredictable!

What a tiny little thing (I had just copied and pasted the url's on your previous post, lol, to see the little guy come to find you had figured it out).

What temperature are you keeping him at? Just wondering. ^_~
Let us know how he's keeping up, seems to be healthy for waking you. ^_^

Thanks Melika, he is being kept in a little tupperware bowl that is lined with tissues and then he has a heat pad wrapped around his little bowl. I am not sure of the temp but he is lovely and warm when I get him out for a feed and he sure has "pepped up" through the night!!

My late mother used to be Chairperson of WIRES (Wildlife Rescue) here in Aust and she kept all her baby birds like this - I so hope it works for my new baby!

I have named him "Squeak" and I will keep you all updated with baby photos every couple of days.

awww squeak is absolutely adorable, so small and vulnerable looking, I'll keep the tiny little darling in my prayers, for good health and life.

My birds name is Kai, he is an 11 month old blue, I have only had him 10 days and we are bonding beautifully. So cheeky and a real suck up. LOVE HIM.

That is the SWEETEST thing I think I have seen! The mere thought of having to handle such a tiny creature terrifies me. Best of luck with Squeak and keep the pix coming!

Good. ^_^
He'll want to eat through the night and at first it's best if you feed him then too. He'll let you know, as I'm sure you've figured out. ^_~

Awww! He's so cute! My heart always melts for little tiny baby birds. I used to breed cockatiels so I understand about the all night thing LOL. I do have to say that IRN babies are cute! [/list]

Kudos to your for raising him. I know I'd be muttering at something that woke me every two hours, lol.

How adorable! I think I found a site you would enjoy looking through.

http://www.netpets.com/birds/reference/ ... kaint.html

Just keep clicking on the Next Page to get through it.

I don't think an explanation is needed of what it is- you can read, lol.
