What do IRN eat?
Hey, I was wondering what IRN eat. My friend's IRN eat sunflower seed and fruit. So what does yours eat? What is best?

First, important thing to remember is they cannot live off of seed alone. I also have learned that sunflower seeds can make them aggessive so I only use them as treats. The only real no-no is dairy. The great thing is they can eat pretty much what you do!
Here are a few starters I recommend:
A good pellet food for the cage.
They love... papaya, cucumbers, grapes, brocolli, spray millet, pizza crust, any kind of fruit, peanuts but in LOW dosage, meat...
Be careful to remove all food within 2 hours of putting it in the cage. For the most part, they wont touch bad food but we dont want to take the chance.

Mikaela means remove all fresh food. Pellets, seeds, and nuts can stay since they won't go bad. ^_^
Feed more veggies than fruits. And make sure you have a good variety to give. Not just two or three kinds.
