Just to see what she would do I reached down and pulled up the end of my t-shirt so she was now covered in a pouch formed by the shirt.
She immediately laid down and proceeded to chirp very happily. She stayed there for like an hour occassionally moving around exploring the nooks and crannies of her private pouch and then snuggling in again even laying down on her side
We have since then repeated this and she LOVES it. After getting her quota of petting on my shoulder she then heads down to my lap to get pouched.
I can even stand up and walk around while holding the end of the shirt to maintain the pouch and she seems very secure moving around this way. I'm thinking of getting one of those gardeners aprons with the toolpouch at the bottom and just walking aorund with her in it

I suppose it replicates the nest instinct. Do IRNS nest inside holes in trees?
