Be Careful what you ask for
I have a collection that includes finches, canaries, budgies, tiels, cats and Magellan (who I now am convinced is an INR). Amazing how may animals land on your doorstep once the word is out that you are a softie. Also more than a little horrifying how many birds end up at the pound. Ah well, if things get slow, I can post one bird a day and that will keep you all amused for a month!
thanks

Hopefully that will take you to a photo of Magellan! He/she is the latest addition; from her behavior, I think she was handled a lot or hand reared, but not trained all the way (or may have been loose for a while, you will note her embarassing lack of nice long tail feathers). Friend rescued her from a local pound and since my living room looks like this already

actually that is only half of the cages), what could I say but welcome! Glad to meet you all. Cheers,
P.S. Guess I am making this too complicated....ah well, hope you can see the links anyway. Guess I am a dos woman in a windows world

Magellan does look like Nila
You do have the look of MBS. And you can tell a real
bird person because there is always a broom propped close by
somewhere in the pic.
Or a vaccume if you're unfortunate enough to have carpeting.
Thanks for sharing.

My husband was just complaining about the mess 5 minutes before I read this. Hubby had cleaned the floor and fed Nila this am because I was out on a call early this am. He cleaned the floor, fed the bird who promply climbed to the top of his play gym and began throwing his pellets on the floor as if to say hey I had that just the way I wanted it mister. I find this amusing , my husband finds it very annoying.
