Catch?!?!

Post by Typhon »

With all this "Bluffing" business Typhons been going through, ive been trying to return to normal with him. Today i went into the living room and grabbed some of his toys NOT in his cage, laid them on the floor, opened his cage, sat down, and waited to see if hed come out. He did and jumped onto the floor to see what i was so intrested in. I was playing with one of his little plastic balls and i kind of tossed it near him. He chased it, grabbed it, and looked as if he was trying to THROW IT BACK using his beak. I dont know if he was actually trying to get it to me, but it kind of rolled my direction and i grabbed it and began to laugh and he squawked at me as if to say THROW IT BACK. So i did to see his reaction and he did the exact, same thing. He has never actually made a noise directed toward me like that, it was very surprising. I dont know if he knew what he was doing, but it was pretty hysterical to me.

lol
George loves to play this game too. We don’t use a ball as he is not to fond of round things(I know its weird), but we play catch with other toys. He loves to throw pens and will chase it down a throw it back to me. Sometimes he will just play the game with himself. He throws something into the air chasses it and throws it again.

He loves to see what I am doing if I play with something he has to have it. I have used this to get him to try new foods. I will play with the food (running my fingers through it etc.) he will get curios and investigate like all birds with his beak he then discovers that it taste good and eats it.
