Hello! Im new here. I just got my ringneck on July 20th. His name is Rascal and he is 17 months old.

Rascal is awesome, I love this bird so much it's incredible. I didn't think it was possible to love a bird so much. I taught him to take and he already says a few words. Rascal is always out with me. He has perches all over my house and follows me around. He is an excellent flyer. I was "considering" cutting his wings at first but once I saw him fly it's not necessary. It's so great to see a bird fly, he gets so much exercise. We built a HUGE play gym/stand with toys, bells a little food dish. He loves it. I have to say though he is the noisiest little bugger in the world, lol. I thought I would never be able to watch TV again and, I was right, LOL

I have lots of pictures so I will post some.

I also have 2 Jack Russell Terriers named Rocky and Jack. They are sisters and quite the handful. When they say Jack Russell’s are hyper they are putting that lightly! They are a tornado of trouble, LOL. But I love them to peaces. I also have eight chinchillas. I have one chin names, Peeps. Her mom passed away when she was one week old. I had to raise her myself. Peeps only weighed 38 grams, very tiny. Every 2 hours for 2 months I had to hand feed her, it was a lot of work but we pulled threw and now she weighs 800 grams, LOL. I love her so much. And .... I have eight fish tanks!

Thanks Everyone! I have lots of stories, LOL. Rascal is such a clown and the name suits him perfectly.
