*sighs* Prinny is gonna get herself killed!

Post by Dani03 »

Ok flock get this...Prinny has been so interested in Bodi lately and really wants to kill or otherwise maim the poor guy. She is posturing and pinning her eyes at him and giving him that "don't you come near me" attitude but she's the one getting ever so closer to his HUGE beak. It's like she thinks she's bigger than he is. Geeze my girl has a napolean complex going on here...

BTW Bodi could care less about her. He ignores her completely unless she decides to squawk loudly.

Good thing we're so far away, cuz if Prinny and Remmi got together they would think they could take over the world. John said yesterday-he stayed home from work-he walked into the living room and Remmi had somehow managed to climb onto Byndi's cage and was pestering her while she was in her cage. And then he said she was just hanging in the door of the cage and he bothered her so much she lost her balance and fell onto the floor. Not a long fall at all and went straight under her cage and wouldn't come out. He's such a brat. And loves to pester her to no end. Imagine what Remmi and Prinny could do together.

my female echo has the same problem she does the same thing to bubba and bubba is 10 times her size yet she thinks she can take him !

sometimes i want to let her nip at him just once so she learns her lesson but i know bubba would hurt her to bad and she still wouldnt learn her lesson

You really really gotta watch it... I'm not saying this to be a bully but to warn you.

I've seen the damage that bigger birds who are not interested in little birds can do, they just take one swipe with that beak and if its not death its something close. Very very dangerous.

I keep my guys sorted by size, with the exception of Alice, who thinks shes an IRN. However, I watch her like a hawk, just in case.

i never have them in the same room unless one is in its cage most of the time the only confrontation happens when i walk past echos cage with bubba on my shoulder.

bubba doesnt even notice her inside her cage but shes always in there puffed up eyes pinned and stricking in full attack mode

Don't worry about that Athena! I know that for sure! They are watched witn an eagle eye and are never more than a foot near each other. So far so good but Prinny has been just a little terror.

Isn't it cute to see the ringnecks do the .. I am the boss act.

ours come out together in the lounge and are watdhed. the smaller birds simply keep out of the ringnecks way. when ever the ringnecks get too close they fly off. Except for the silly cockatiel that has a death wish, she would walk into the jaws of the ringnecks peeping.. love me love me. So she is kept separated totally and all the time. My eldest daughter deals with her.

Sometimes the best watched things can still end up with a bad outcome :( I really hope thats never.
