Does anybody else's....

Post by jen5239 »

Irns climb up high or have to be sitting on the edge of the cage or stand to eat their food? I swear if Remmi's cage is open, which is the minute we get home til we leave or go to bed, and he is eating something, he will get the piece of whatever he's eating, climb out of his cage to an edge hold it in his foot, take a bite, and drop it on the floor. Or he climbs as high as he can get and does the same. It's fun to watch how clever he can be as he's climbing with a piece of apple or a nutri-berry or something else sticking out of his beak. He's quite clever in that aspect. But then he gets where he's going and nibbles a little and then drops it. Silly bird. Does anyone else's babies do this? Or is mine just a silly bird?

fiona does that too. Her favorite toy is a cat ball w/ a bell inside and I will roll it to her and she'll pick it up and drop it. Sometimes I can catch it with my hand but most the time it hits the floor. It gets annoying, but she's not very tame and any play is huge for her! :D

Yes Smokey does this also. I am amazed at some of the things he takes to the highest point of his playground. Watching him is very amusing how he coordinates.
