I took her out this morning and all she did was sit with me and chatter away. I am so happy cause normally she saves her chattering for when no one is looking...mean my baby is getting more confident in her speaking. She is so cute...nattering away. I wish I could vid her but I don't have a camera to do it with.
You're so lucky! I'm beginning to think my babies aren't going to speak at all. And yes, I do want them to talk! I'd be lying if I said I didn't care if they did or not. I want my babies to sit and say cool phrases! Dang it! If they don't I'll be bummed but won't love them any less.
Jen...it takes time. I've had Prinny for little over a year now and she only recently has decided to SHOW she knows how to talk. (She's been practicing for a while tho) Even if they never talk it's ok...they're still great birds.
Curiously, my chook prefers to talk to my son Lonnie, rather than me. He will say his whole range of words and make all his noises in the morning to wake Lonnie up and gets so excited whereas, he won't speak to me. He will whistle me and snuggle in and want skritches, but no talking. I can't work it out!!!! Oh, by the way, he won't let Lonnie touch him, i'm the only one that can touch him.....crazy bird
