Weird obession!

Hey guys,
My irn bailey has a weird obession with cabels and wires, im scared he is gonna hurt himself, i found him the other day under my computer (dont even know how he got there ) chewing the wires! one was even sparking! what can i do i hide them all out the way and we have like cable holders and stuff but some how he STILL manages to get them! and it's not like he has no toys he has like a million! (hehe well a bit of a lie) but no he wont chew his toys he likes wires instead! what can i do? Please Please help! thanks guys mwaaa!

Luckily we haven't experienced this problem, but all I can think of is to coat the leads with something that doesn't taste too good to them. For example "Stop 'N Grow", it deters people from biting their nails, goes on like nail polish & tastes terrible . It isn't poisonous, so wouldn't harm them. Worth a go?!?!?!

you could try threading the wires inside pvc-pipe, garden hose, or a vaccum hose to channel it from place to place making it hidden and protected.

or use a taste repelant like "bitter apple" most pets hate the taste and once he bites it he shouldnt again, but it does ware off after a few hours so i would spray some on the wires every time you take him out of his cage. it and other simular products should be should be available at most vet offices and pet supply stores

or you could try using both methods threading through the pipe/hose and using the spray
