You also don't want to clip all the feathers like was done before. I would not do more than say the outermost 5 on each side and see how that works. The fruit I get is for birds so it does not have all the sugar in it like the stuff you would get in the grocery store.

Let me rephrase - it isn't dried with all the sugar like so many of the dried fruit in the grocery stores.

Just in case she comes back. The coloring is normal. A lot of ringnecks will get that coloring to some extent on their beaks. I am not sure if it is from rubbing on concrete perches or just rubbing in general, but mine aslo have some of that on theirs and I have seen many others that also get it.
