Hi I wasn't sure which part of the forum to go to with this question so I thought I'd try here. My lutino IRN which I only had 2 weeks, has slight browny/orangy tinged edges, on the tips of his tail feathers, like a thin brown outline on the ends of his tail feathers. Is this normal or is it a sign ...
Hi I just wanted to ask you about one of my ringnecks, the grey one. As you may already know, I just got them last Friday but had them waiting for me at the breeders for over a month. I have four of them and they were all caged together. I noticed that the grey ringneck sometimes has a slight trembl...

Hi Soon I will be going to pick up my four male IRNs, which I will be housing in a large indoor cage. They aren't tame but aren't flighty or anything like that either. They are already used to living with each other. I just wanted to ask you all on here, if you have some extra tips or suggestions on...
Ok...I know I asked a similar question on here not that long ago but if it works, I think this is what I'd like to do....Could I keep 4 tame IRN males in the same cage ...I'd obviously give them daily outside time.???
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

There were two female IRNs with the infested one - plus all the other caged birds next to these...it is a pet store after all! Thanks for that Donna!!!! I wil...

Hi
I'm just wondering if some of you IRN knowledgeable keepers could tell me if it is at all possible, to keep four IRNs together in a large cage......or would they all fight?

Hi I was wondering is anyone could tell me when does an IRN reach his/her full size. The ones I am planning on getting are not too much bigger than a cockatiel (their tails are longer though ofcourse). Is this as big as they get or will they get bigger?? I've heard they grow to about 16inches?
thanks!!!
Hey Wendy PLEASE keep me updated how things go with your new IRN!! I'll be in your shoes soon too so I want to follow your progress and see how things go with having an IRN. Is yours tame??
I know what you mean with being a defence widow, can get a bit lonely sometimes hey....
Well at the moment they're sitting in a wooden box about 40cm x40cmx40cm in the pet store...they've been there about a month now. I don't know where they came from prior to that. I am not getting them for the purpose of breeding but if they showed signs that they wanted to "make babies" th...
I'm not sure how old they are. They don't look like babies but the male hasn't got his ring yet either.
Do you think putting them together will not work?? They seem to get along together where they are at the moment but I don't know if they all came from the same batch.
