I talk to him every time I pass the cage, and my recliner is right next to the cage, so were are in each other's presence all the time (when I'm home). My husband is home all day, so I wasn't sure if that alone is what makes Skye more comfortable with him. I'm the one that feeds him, bathes him, cha...

I'm convinced my IRN hates me.

Hi Everyone- I'm still having a hard time with Skye. He still won't let me near him without lunging, hissing, etc., but now he has taken to backing away from me. Is it ok though, if he doesn't get out of the cage for a few days. I left the cage open for several hours yesterday, and he'd explore the door opening, but never got out.

I'm trying not to get discouraged, but it is hard. He was so sweet for almost 2 weeks and now he's turned on me.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I'll put the dog away first though :-) I don't need feathers and/or fur flying.

Help. For the first 2 weeks I had Skye, I was able to get him/her out of the cage with only minimal fuss and a few shreeks, but now Skye is biting, hissing and trying to hide. I can't even come near the cage with out him backing away from any door. I have not been able to get him out for the last 4 ...

Hi everyone- I am a new mommy to a Turquoise IRN named Skye, and I am absolutly in love. We are having a couple of issues, though, and I'd really like some advice. 1. Skye freaks out every time I try to get him out of the cage. Is this just because he's getting used to the cage and us? Or is this a ...
