hen in box?

Hi one of my hens that bred last year has been in a nestbox all this season but hasn't layed an egg. She is not egg bound that I or my mate can tell.
She spends all day everyday in the box but has not layed a egg. Last year was her first year and she layed 3 eggs and had one. But anyone know what to do to get her to lay or take off?
She is in an aviary with another pair and one extra hen should I take that hen out and hope her mate spends more time with her? Any ideas?

She may be just packing the nest down so she can lay her eggs. This usually only occurs for about 3 weeks.
Have you upped their food intake?
Also, give them some fresh branches to chew on

I have been really sick so I will give them more food and put some new branches in for them. I hope she does something.
