This is a temp guide from a handraising book I have.
Newly hatched chicks - 36.6 °C
5 - 12 days - 35 ° - 31.6 °C
12 days - pin feather stage - 31 ° -28 °C
Once feathers begin to cover most of the body - 26.5 °C
I use these temps as a guide only and "read" the chicks body language, huddled and shivering - increase the temp etc.
I am not sure about the humidity readings. I just have a small container of water in the brooder.
I found this on the net.....
The humidity level is another key factor in your brooder. A humidity level of 45 to 55 %. When the level of humidity is too low your babies will appear dehydrated and have dry looking skin that may even flake. If you keep the brooder humidity too high, you run the risk of developing bacteria or even a fungus that then can end up in the lungs of your babies.
