Hi Murray4405,

Welcome to the group! Do you happen to have pictures of the Silver hen? A Silver hen is actually a Grey Cinnamon and I really like the Cinnamon series birds for their soft pastel colors.

Anyway, here's the result for that pairing.

Blue Cock x Silver Hen

Cocks:
50% GREY split Cinnamon
50% BLUE split Cinnamon

Hens:
50% GREY
50% BLUE

Hope that helps.

Hi bonjoram,

Thanks for the information. I wanted to confirm that I had a Blue/Cinnamon Cock and not just a Blue - last year when we put the "Grey" hen to the "Blue" cock we were most surprised to see the Skyblue chick! We were expecting Blue or Grey chicks. We were sold the hen about 4 years ago as a Grey but just thought she was a bit pale. Anyway here's a picture of the hen and the skyblue baby.

Thanks Jeremy,

It'll be interesting to see what we get this year! Had a look at your website - I see you live about three hours away from us - we're on the Darling Downs!
