I've tried to attached a photo but it won't allow me to **** it.
My bubba has a little bald patch as big as a small finger nail, it feels like a little bubble and no sign of feathers growing..it's on the right side of his/hers neck

Yeah, birds are pretty sensitive. If you can afford to take it to a vet then do so, if not then just keep an eye on it and see what it does

A 5 week old baby is not fully featherd as yet. The neck, above the crop and some stomach areas are the last to sort of fill in. If your baby is genuinely 5 weeks old, I wouldn't worry too much.
