Freaked out

My IRN has been outside for a few days and I brought him back inside because of the heat. Up to today he has been fine outside for a few days and his personality hasnt changed but today he was very skittish he wouldnt approach my hand or respond to the up command he was backing away as I approached the cage and only after a good 30minutes of me sitting next to the cage did he finally come out and sit on my hand. do you guys think this is because of him being outside or that some other animal has freaked him out.

Did you spend any time with him while he was outside? IRNs are notorious for becoming cagebound and flighty when left in their cages for long periods of time with out human interaction. Also younger IRNs need atleast two hours out of the cages daily or they WILL revert.
