I was at the local bird shop today to buy feed and pick up a male cinn olive. I saw what the owner said was a pair of african ringnecks...
I know that they are smaller and have different color beaks and are a different shade of green.
But the hen caught my eye as her beak was solid black...is this normal for ARN hens to have solid black beaks? Please see the pics below...maybe Im just not used to seeing ARNs...
Is this odd or normal??

The hen is an african but not convinced about the male (looks IRN)

All ARN's have solid black or dark dark beaks. So yes female is ARN, male could be a IRN, were they both the same shade of green or different?
