Breeding with albinos

I'm not even sure I'd want to breed with Ink...it shortens the females life, correct?
And she's such a good pet.
But I was wondering, for no particular reason...
Breeding with an albino...are they like the ditto of the ringneck world? (Pokemon analogy. /lawl)

Such as...breeding an albino with blue, you'd get blue? Since albino is recessive?

hmmm breed her with a green male thats split to blue and lutino and you can get green, blue, lutino and albino babies
