New IRN

Post by Hannah »

Have recenty aquired a 4 year old IRN. She is absolutly lovely and likes to spend her time hanging out with me. I was just wondering how often i should put her back in her cage for something to eat/drink. Thanks.

Is she clipped or fully flighted?

If flighted, she should find her way back to the cage for food and drink, if clipped you could always have a ladder, branch or something similar near her cage so she can climb up it and into her cage when she feels peckish.....ooorrrr....you could have a nibblie station scattered around where you are so she could help herself when needed. :)

Cheers. she's clipped and seems to like to sit on my head most of the time.

yep seems to be my birds favourite spot too
larissa"s (my daughter) irn likes to hang off her fringe if shes eating
that way he gets the best nibbless before she does any wonder we only eat bird safe food during fly out time?
