Hi,
I'm new to the forum, I have a female (or at least as far as I know!) IRN aged about 9mths and a male (ditto) Alex aged 6mths.
The IRN was a rescue bird, possibly a trapped wild bird. She's happy now but far from tame. I hand reared the Alex so they make an odd pair.
I've been in other forums but it's nice to see one specialising in IRN. I've had loads of issues trying to calm her down, after 6mths I haven't given up, but I've decided to try to win her over in years, not months ;) The Alex is tame in that dopey trusting way I understand is common haha

hi & welcome
patience is the key to your irn
especialy with a rescue you dont know what shes been through before so shes just sussing you out your alex will be a fantastic help as she will be able to see that your not hurting him so you might just be a person you cant trust feed him treats & interact with him near her
allow her to watch you in your everyday activities when your not focused on her (reading tv computor)she will get to trust you eventually
