bird cage

i need to by a bird cage and i dont know what size i shoulde get. there is a cage i would like to get but it comes in two size. tha smallest says that it is fit for cockatials, considering that irns are a little bit bigger then cocktials i was hoping that this cage might be the right size for it it. here is the size f the cage.

Dimensions: 20"W x 18"D x 25"H
Total Cage Height: 51"
Bar Spacing: 1/2"
Wire Gauge: 1/

From what I've read, you really need at least 24" x 24" x 36" They need room!!! :)

You have to remember IRN’s tails. They are very long and need that extra room for their tail. They also need extra room because of how active they are. They are always on the go and never just sit still, at least mine don’t or never did.
Mom too, Two Jack Russell Terriers, Rocky & Jack, Six Chinnies, Three Fish Tanks, One Ringneck, Chiquita & One Conure, Boomer.

I Agree With Wrynsmom :D

Because They Need 2 Flap Their Wing While In Cage And Stretch Thier Wing Aswell But If You Get Small Cage Than Thier Wing Span, They Get Frustated, That What I Have Learned From Uni :D

But that is a MINIMUM. BIGGER IS BETTER when it comes to cages!
