Breeding Season In the States?

Anyone know when the normal breeding season is in Minnesota? Right now it is fall and I've set up my pair to breed but they don't seem interested at all. Some help would good.

They breed based on environmental cues. One of the cues is an increasing amount of daylight so you can see breeding activity as early as January in the northern hemisphere and it can last through April.
