Your third pic down where it shows a close up of the beak. Do you see the black on the sides of the beak? The red spot on the side. I'm 110% SURE.

I can see what looks like black edges on the feathers starting there Mik.
Just to clarify, because so many people wait on the moult for the ring to suddenly be in and correct me If I am wrong .. but the ring doesn't just suddenly come in fully after a moult .. It will begin to appear somewhere around the 2 year old mark and then come in, in bits and pieces (over months) until its fully in at around age 3. Right ?

Plus Mickey and Mallory (now placed in a new home as a breeder) the wild females, Mickey is now paired with Kai and they are about to be parronts.
Nila seems to have finished his first moult, He's 6 months old.
And his ring has changed too. It's the same color,no different there but
it's more defined. I can see where his neck and body begin now it's not smooth like it was. Still has the light turquoise ring on the back part though he's always had that.
